Planning to get married in Colorado? I’m so excited for you! As a Colorado wedding photographer I might be just a little biased, 😉 but I really do think it’s one of the most beautiful locations on earth for capturing that unforgettable day with the love of your life! Today, I wanted to focus on what I consider to be the top Colorado wedding venues. I think you’ll see why I love them so much—and I hope you’ll find one to fall in love with too!!
This is my favorite venue in Colorado Springs! The combination of stunning architecture and breathtaking mountain views is simply stunning. To me, this venue embodies luxury and elegance. The Broadmoor’s venue team is also amazing! Whether you envision a grand ballroom affair or an intimate garden ceremony, they will ensure a seamless celebration that surpasses all of your expectations!
Garden of the Gods is a popular spot for engagement and family photoshoots alike, but their resort and club offers that extra touch of sophistication that makes it a perfect destination for weddings. If you’ve dreamed of exchanging wedding vows against the majestic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, this is the place for you!
I love the sweeping views that Spruce Mountain Ranch offers! And with its rustic yet sophisticated vibe, it really does feel like a quintessential small-town Colorado experience. Rustic doesn’t mean you sacrifice any of the amenities though. They have charming getting-ready cottages for both the bride and groom, beautiful reception spaces, and a wonderful staff who will see to your every need.

Nestled between a granite ridge and open ranchland, Black Canyon Inn provides an incredibly picturesque setting for your special day. With both indoor and outdoor spaces (huge windows in their indoor locations, so don’t worry about missing out on the view) this location is perfect for both summer and winter weddings. This venue also provides everything you need for your wedding day, right down to convenient on-site accommodations for you and your guests.
For an intimate wedding, the Landing at Estes Park is one of my favorites. They only hold one wedding at a time, so you can rest assured that the venue is entirely at the disposal of you and your guests. Add in their stunning riverfront ceremony space and reception hall replete with old world touches (cozy fireplace, barn wood bar, and panoramic windows so you can enjoy views of the river and Longs Peak) and it’s easy to see why this wedding venue is so incredibly popular!
Beautiful, romantic, and historic, The Manor House is truly a magical place for a wedding! If you prefer a fairy-tale rather than a rustic vibe, this venue delivers! There are so many places (both indoor and out) for elegant portraits, and the fact that these gorgeous mountain views are only half an hour from Denver can be a huge convenience for out-of-town guests. Plus, the staff here really go above and beyond for their couples.
This incredibly elegant venue features spectacular stone buildings, meticulous landscaping, open-air fireplaces, sweeping views, and even a day spa so that you can take time before or after your big day to relax. With its lush landscape and stone architecture, you’ll feel like you’re in the heart of wine country. Mediterranean vibes right here in Colorado? It doesn’t get much better than that!
Dreaming of a cozy mountain getaway? This boutique, alpine-style hotel provides a peaceful retreat where you can relax and enjoy your wedding day in the Rockies. Wedding ceremonies take place on their beautiful Sky View Deck, where you can exchange your vows in the pure mountain air with a breathtaking view of Colorado’s High Country.
The contrast of manicured emerald green golf course and the rusty red of Colorado’s famous red sandstone rock formations make the Arrowhead feel like a true oasis. Hold your ceremony indoors in the elegant Roxborough Room, or use their outdoor Tent Pavilion and celebrate with a reception under the stars. Plus, the grounds provide endless places for unforgettable wedding portraits.
There is a rustic-modern feel to this wedding venue that makes it perfect for a variety of styles, whether you choose to go more upscale and elegant or rustic and chic. There’s an open-air vibe to the reception space, and the bride and groom’s cabins for getting ready are minimalist and beautiful. With both mountain and prairie views, indoor and outdoor options for any kind of weather, and a welcoming staff, Bonnie Blues really does offer something for everyone.
This hidden gem nestled in the foothills is family-run and boasts two separate venue sites (the homestead and the barn) so you can choose whichever best fits your needs—or book them both! The natural beauty here is incredible, and I love their gazebo and patio with strung lights. From the intimate mountain setting to the warm and welcoming staff, you will love everything about this scenic wedding venue!
A husband-and-wife-owned wedding venue, this mountain escape is nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Rockies and surrounded by trees. The event center itself is a gorgeous white barn building with modern touches that make it look so classy! They also provide getting-ready suites and personalized care from the owners, whose love for what they do shines through in every detail.
With so many amazing options to choose from, maybe the hardest part about getting married in Colorado is narrowing down exactly where you want to tie the knot! I hope one of these Colorado wedding venues has caught your eye and given you a vision for just how beautiful your wedding day can be!
And if you’re looking for a local Colorado Wedding Photographer who knows the ropes and can help you with every step of your wedding, please reach out! There’s nothing I would rather do than help you tell your love story and capture this unforgettable chapter of your lives!!
