Caroline and Joshua shared the most beautiful and intimate elopement day at Lookout Mountain here in Colorado. Love, laughter, and unforgettable moments filled their day. I felt honored that they chose me to capture it all!

Getting Ready for a Romantic Mountain Elopement

The morning started with a touch of relaxation and excitement as Caroline and Joshua got ready together at home. They wanted to soak in every moment of their special day, embracing the fun and adventure that awaited them that afternoon! Caroline looked absolutely stunning with her hair and makeup beautifully designed by Hair Makeup By Lauren. One of the most sentimental details of her bridal look was her veil. It was her sister’s veil, a heartfelt suggestion from her sister to include something meaningful in their elopement ceremony! I was also completely obsessed with the adorable bow on the back of her dress! Of course, I had to capture plenty of detail shots of that perfect touch.

The Perfect Ceremony Spot at Lookout Mountain Colorado

As the early afternoon approached, all the vendors met Caroline and Joshua at Lookout Mountain Park in Golden, CO where they shared their private vow reading and intimate elopement ceremony. Jane’s Personalized Weddings did such an incredible job officiating their elopement ceremony. This moment was nothing short of magical. Just the two of them, surrounded by the beauty of the Colorado mountains, exchanging vows in the most sacred and heartfelt way! It was pure, it was emotional, and it was truly unforgettable!

After their ceremony, it was time for some just-married portraits! The perfect way to celebrate their love! We started capturing moments at their ceremony site before heading down the road to Windy Saddle Park for more dreamy and romantic portraits. The wind added an extra touch of magic to their photos! Giving us those effortlessly beautiful, wind-swept moments that Colorado is known for!

A huge shoutout to I Do Social, who joined us for the day to capture all the behind-the-scenes and social content. They did an incredible job, and it was so fun collaborating with them to document this beautiful day! Even though we had some lingering chilly breezes from a recent snowstorm, Caroline and Joshua embraced it all like absolute champs. And honestly, Mother Nature gifted us with the most breathtaking day! Complete with dreamy lighting and crisp mountain air that made for the perfect elopement setting.
