Katrina and Ali’s winter wedding at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs was the perfect example of timeless elegance meeting heartfelt emotion. They chose to celebrate their love in November of 2025. Their wedding day felt romantic, intimate, and truly magical from beginning to end. As their Colorado Springs Wedding Photographer, it is always an incredible honor to document weddings at The Broadmoor. Katrina and Ali’s day was one I will never forget.
From the peaceful lake reflections to the iconic architecture and golden fall tones lingering on the trees, The Broadmoor created the most breathtaking backdrop for their wedding day celebration!

The day began with Katrina getting ready in a beautiful bridal suite surrounded by her closest girls and family. Watching her step into her stunning, princess-style gown was such a special moment. One filled with anticipation, joy, and quiet emotion. Every detail felt thoughtful and refined.

Watching Katrina’s final look come together was so special—her flawless hair by BrookeMae Hair Styling and radiant makeup by JessicaFayeBeauty completed her winter princess bridal vision so beautifully.

Meanwhile, Ali spent the morning in a separate room with his friends, enjoying a relaxed start to the day. Playing video games, laughing, and soaking in those final moments before the ceremony — these candid moments are some of my favorite to capture because they tell such an honest part of their wedding day story.

Once Katrina was fully ready, she shared an emotional first look with her parents and brother. These moments were filled with hugs, happy tears, and so much love. The kind of moments that remind me why wedding photography is about so much more than just beautiful images.

Shortly after, Katrina made her way to the iconic front lawn of The Broadmoor to share her intimate first look with Ali. With the lake behind them and fall colors softly surrounding the space, this moment felt incredibly private yet deeply meaningful. One of my favorite perspectives from the day was captured by my second photographer (Elena), Katrina, and Ali, sharing this once-in-a-lifetime moment while their family and friends quietly watched from a distance, witnessing the love and connection between them.

Because sunset arrives earlier at this time of the year in Colorado Springs during the winter months, we made intentional time to explore multiple portrait locations throughout The Broadmoor wedding venue. One of the reasons I absolutely love photographing weddings here is the variety. From lakeside views and manicured lawns to elegant architecture and mountain backdrops, every corner offers something unique.

Katrina and Ali’s just-married portraits felt timeless, romantic, and effortlessly elegant. The soft light reflecting off the water, Katrina’s veil flowing behind her, and Ali’s quiet confidence by her side created imagery that felt straight out of a storybook.

If you’re dreaming of romantic, natural portraits that feel effortless and true to you, I would love to help document your day in a way that feels meaningful and stress-free. You can inquire about wedding photography availability here.

Before the ceremony began, my second photographer and I captured the beautifully crafted ceremony space — something I always prioritize as a Colorado Springs wedding photographer. These detailed images preserve the artistry and care that go into designing such a meaningful setting.

The fall and winter floral designs by KAE Weddings and KAE Events & Florals added such a romantic touch to the day! Rich tones, soft textures, and elegant arrangements tied everything together seamlessly and photographed beautifully in the natural light of the venue!

As Katrina walked down the aisle with her dad, I remember glancing over at Ali and seeing the biggest smile spread across his face. His expression said everything — love, excitement, and complete admiration. Capturing that moment is one I know they will cherish forever!

Following their joyful ceremony exit, Katrina and Ali celebrated the rest of the night with their friends and family. The reception was filled with laughter, high-energy dancing, and so many genuine moments of connection. The dance floor stayed alive all evening, and you could truly feel the joy in the room.

One of the most meaningful moments of the entire day happened near the end of the night — Katrina and Ali shared a private last dance in the reception hall. Just the two of them, soaking in the day they had just experienced. The closeness, love, and emotion captured in those photos are truly something special — a quiet ending to a beautifully full day.

If you are searching for a truly magical wedding venue in Colorado Springs, The Broadmoor offers everything and more. It is stunning in every season, provides endless portrait locations, and creates an unforgettable experience for couples and guests alike. Whether you’re planning a fall, winter, spring, or summer wedding, The Broadmoor is always a breathtaking choice.
