Elsa & Carson’s Wedding: A Summer Celebration in Colorado

I had the greatest honor of capturing Elsa and Carson’s summer wedding at The Inverness Denver Colorado. Elsa and Carson chose to get married in Colorado, where they first met at Colorado State University (CSU). Although they now live in Wisconsin, they wanted all of their family and friends from Colorado to be part of their special day! Keep reading below to hear more about Elsa and Carson’s beautiful wedding day!

Getting Ready Moments at The Inverness Denver Hotel

To begin, the day started with Elsa getting into her beautiful wedding dress and Carson eagerly waiting to see her during their wedding ceremony later at St. Francis. Elsa and Carson chose to not do a first look, and wait to see each other for the first time during their ceremony! Their wedding colors were forest green, white, and black; with lots of baby’s breath, white roses, and greenery. Their wedding colors and decorations fit perfectly with the natural beauty of our state colorful Colorado!

Wedding Ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church

Next, it was time for Elsa and Carson’s wedding ceremony at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Castle Rock, Colorado. Their ceremony was filled with so much love and heartfelt vows. It reflected their journey together through different places and life stages. The love between Elsa and Carson was obvious throughout the entire day. It is truly so evident the way they both look at one another with such happiness and passion!

A particular look or moment I won’t forget – is when Carson saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle towards him. This is a moment I always adore on wedding days. Carson was filled with so much genuine warmth and joy when his sweet Elsa was walking down in her stunning wedding dress towards her groom.

Capturing Memories: Photography at The Inverness Denver

Then, after Elsa and Carson’s warm and Christ-centered wedding ceremony, the focus shifted to capturing timeless wedding portraits that would memorialize their special day! Following family formals inside the church, we eagerly ventured outside under clear skies to photograph the newlyweds and their beloved wedding party. The atmosphere was filled with love and laughter as Elsa and Carson’s wedding party showered them with joyful encouragement.

During their intimate portraits as husband and wife, it was evident in every glance and smile exchanged that they were overflowing with so much happiness and anticipation for the future. Carson couldn’t help but admire his stunning bride, and Elsa beamed with pride at now being his wife! It was a privilege to capture these precious moments as their Photographer knowing they would be cherished for a lifetime!

Highlights of Elsa and Carson’s Wedding Reception at The Inverness

Lastly, into the Limo and off to reception they go! Elsa and Carson’s wedding reception at The Denver Inverness was a lively party with heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and lots of dancing. Elsa and Carson made sure everyone felt included and had a great time celebrating with them. After their sweetest first dance to the song “Tennessee Whisky,” the floor opened up to a night filled with joy. Guests were treated to heartfelt toasts each sharing touching stories and well-wishes for the now newlyweds. The room felt with laughter and happy tears as friends and family reminisced about the couple’s journey together throughout the years!

As the night progressed, the dance floor became the focal point of the celebration. Elsa and Carson’s friends and family danced the night away, creating unforgettable memories together. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Marking the start of a beautiful journey for Elsa and Carson!
