Planning Your Wedding Portraits
The first step is to connect so that we can get to know each other! Once you’ve contacted me, I’ll be in touch within 24 hours with an email link to schedule your initial wedding inquiry call so we can chat, get to know each other, and discuss your vision for your special day!
Some wedding photographers like to conduct most of the business over email, but I strongly encourage phone or video calls. And hey, if our schedules align, we can totally meet up for coffee! I find that having an actual conversation allows us to bond and gives you a better idea of my personality and photography process!
During your calls, please feel free to ask any and every question you can think of! It’s essential to me that you feel fully informed and just as excited about your portraits as I am. I’m an open book and am happy to help in any way I can as we plan and prepare together!
I’m eager to learn about your love story, your hobbies, your interests—everything that makes you unique as a couple! It’s this inspiration that I’ll weave into your complimentary engagement session.
Booking Your Wedding Photography Package
Should you choose to move forward with me as your Colorado Springs Wedding Photographer, booking is easy! Simply head to your client portal after our call, sign the wedding contract, and pay the retainer fee (must be paid within a week of the documents being set) to reserve your date in my calendar. Once that’s done, I do a little happy dance and we are official! Let the fun, the romance, and the memories begin!
Your Complimentary Engagement Session
My “I Love It” wedding package includes a complimentary engagement or bridal session before the big day. The way I see it, a wedding photographer’s job is to tell your love story. And the engagement is an important chapter! We’ll choose a scenic spot and celebrate this stage of your relationship with a photoshoot that’s full of genuine smiles and laughter. Your wedding day is here at last! This is such a milestone in your lives and your love story, marking the beginning of an exciting journey together, and I want it to be absolutely picture-perfect! I truly am so thrilled for you, and when I arrive for your wedding day you can expect to be greeted with a warm congratulatory hug. (Yes, I’m a hugger!)
My priority is to tell the story of your day in a way that’s absolutely gorgeous and professional, but unobtrusive enough that you can view me almost like a friend you invited to the wedding. I know weddings can be a whirlwind, which is why I believe in keeping your photography as laid-back and stress-free as possible. I just want you to focus on living every beautiful moment while I capture them all for you!
There is so much happening on a wedding day that I bring along a second photographer so that we don’t miss a thing. As we get started with capturing those cherished wedding day moments, I’ll focus on your wedding detail kit, which provides the intricate backdrop for your story! At the same time, my second shooter will be busy documenting those intimate getting ready moments!
Throughout the entire day, I promise to be by your side, guiding you through the timeline and ensuring that everything flows as naturally and seamlessly as possible!

After a wedding, I can’t wait to get home and start editing! I know you are just as excited to see your finished photos as I am, which is why I love to gift you with just a few sneak peek photos within a week after your special day. Just a little preview of good things to come!
You’ll receive your finalized wedding photo gallery delivered straight to your email about 6-8 weeks after your wedding date. Now comes the really hard part: Choosing your favorites!
You can choose to print and order your favorite images straight from your online photo gallery or download and order them elsewhere—whatever you prefer!
Heirloom Wedding Albums
If you have selected a package that includes a photo album credit, I will be in touch via email with a draft preview for you to look at. Together, we will design and finalize your heirloom wedding photo album!
If you selected a package that does not include a photo album and change your mind afterwards (I get it, it happens!) you can still order a wedding album a-la-carte. I personally love albums because they are such a beautiful way to look back on your memories and share them with family and friends. These photos are too pretty to live only on your computer!
