Red Rocks Barn Colorado Springs

I had the pleasure of serving Ashley and Chris as their Colorado Springs Wedding Photographer at Red Rocks Barn. No rain or storm could stop this couple from getting married on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at the Red Rocks Barn Wedding Venue located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This was a day full of so much love and celebration, Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Pelton! Let’s take a look into their wedding day!

It’s all about the details

First, I first started off Ashley and Chris’s wedding day capturing all the bridal details! Photographing both sets of rings, wedding shoes, florals, and all the jewelry! This is a time of your wedding day where I can get creative as an artist, and capture detailed imagery that tells a story of your wedding day!

Next, it was then time for Ashley and Chris’ ceremony at the Red Rocks Barn wedding venue. Moments before the ceremony was to begin, rain and storms started to roll in. The staff at this venue was amazing, and displayed such great communication and team work to be able to transition Ashley and Chris’s wedding ceremony to be held inside last minute. The ceremony was intimate and beautiful, and they celebrated with bubbles as they exited down the aisle as husband and wife!

Then, after the wedding ceremony concluded, we traveled right down the road to Red Rock Canyon Open Space. This was the perfect location for bridal party portraits and bride and groom portraits, as it is only 5 minutes down the road from the wedding venue!

After the storms had cleared out, then the beautiful lighting rolled in! We had such a fun time all together celebrating Ashley and Chris, and capturing warm and heartfelt memories on their wedding day!

After we finished up the wedding party photos, it was then time for their bride and groom portraits at Red Rock Canyon Open Space. Ashley had sunflowers within her flower bouquet, and I found this field that was blooming with wild sunflowers! It could have not been more perfect, and the lighting was so romantic in this field! Let’s just say, that I had Ashley and Chris frolicking around in this open field for awhile!

Lastly, after wrapping up their bride and groom portraits, we then traveled back to Red Rocks Barn in time for their grand entrances and to dance the night away! Ashley and Chris, you all had the best first dance I have ever seen!

They had put a lot of time and practice into their first dance, and it sure did pay off! Their first dance together as husband and wife was magical in every way. I truly felt so very honored to capture these moments as their wedding photographer!

Ashley and Chris, thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for trusting in me to capture your day! I loved every single moment, and it truly was an honor to be there to document your wedding day!
