Mountain Colorado Elopement in Colorado Springs
I am so very excited to be sharing today about Kayla and Jerry’s Mountain Colorado Elopement at Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado! To begin, Kayla and Jerry reached out to me back in November of 2022 wanting to plan their adventure mountain elopement in Colorado Springs, Colorado!
To continue, Kayla and Jerry traveled all the way from Missouri to celebrate their marriage with their closest friends and family here in Colorado! Kayla and Jerry envisioned choosing a location for their elopement that offered stunning natural outdoor beauty and mountain views. This led them to their decision of Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain! Jerry had shared with me that he had previously visited Pikes Peak in the past, and this location held a special place in his heart.
Colorado Mountain Wedding Ceremony
Further, their elopement day in Colorado Springs brought some strong cold winds. We found the perfect spot in the trees for their ceremony though to help block some of the wind! I could feel all the love during their elopement ceremony at Pikes Peak. Surrounded with all their family and close friends there to celebrate this special moment in Kayla and Jerry’s life! In fact, the officiant was Jerry’s sister and Kayla’s best friend!
Next, after their wedding ceremony concluded, we transitioned into family photos and the bride and groom portraits! At this time, the wind speed was starting to pick up more. I must say, that Kayla and Jerry handled it like champs! I was so proud of them! Besides the wind gusts, this day brought beautiful sunshine, clear blue skies, and stunning mountainous landscape views for their bridal portraits. I was obsessed with Kayla’s flower bouquet, and the vibrant colors within the flowers!
To conclude, after we finished taking their bridal portraits, I gifted Kayla and Jerry with a bottle of champagne. You can never go wrong with a bottle of champagne to celebrate with your close friends and family! Further, Kayla and Jerry, thank you so much for your friendship and trusting in me to capture these beautiful, adventurous memories for your elopement at Pikes Peak as your Colorado Elopement Photographer!
