Kayla and Jerry had their perfect Colorado Springs Engagement Photos taken at North Cheyenne Cañon in the Spring. North Cheyenne Cañon is located in the heart of Colorado Springs! Although, the spring season is now upon us, the wind gusts decided to roll in this day on their Engagement Session at North Cheyenne Cañon. You can probably guess, that it may have made their session at bit more chilly! That being said though, Kayla and Jerry were absolute troopers, and handled the cold wind gusts like champs!

To begin their Colorado Springs Engagement Experience, I met Kayla and Jerry at the start of the trailhead. We then began the hike up together! It was a 1.7 mile out and back trail. During our hike, I specifically loved this time together, because we got to chat and get to know each other more personally! For example, we discussed our favorite music, favorite Netflix TV shows, favorite book genres, and more! I specifically remember our mutual interest for the reality, drama TV show ‘Love is Blind!’
Next, as we reached the summit for the spectacular mountain views, we all soaked in the moment together. We then began taking photos as the views were too incredible, and our excitement was on high! At times, mother nature was kind to us and the wind gusts would die down for chunks of time. I remember just seeing instant joy and smiles on both Kayla and Jerry’s faces as we were taking photos! I could immediately feel the love these two share for one another, and just how special this moment in life was to them!
Further, as we started to hike back down, we found more epic spots along the way that we just had to take photos at! We continued to chat more about life, traveling, and our favorite restaurants. We also discussed the rest of their fun plans in Colorado for the week while they were in town visiting! Parts of the trail were icy at times, but we did make it safely up and back down! Except for the part of me falling on my butt as soon as we made it to the parking lot! I know this gave Kayla and Jerry a good laugh for sure!
To conclude, Kayla and Jerry will also be holding their Intimate Elopement here in Colorado Springs with their family and close friends the end of this week at Pikes Peak. They traveled all the way from Missouri to celebrate their marriage with their closest friends and family. I will also be photographing their Colorado Springs Elopement, and I cannot wait to share with you all soon!
